It makes sense, and I can see what they are trying to say. But they have completely overlooked other connotations into it.
I get where you're coming from, but it's the whole, "hey, we're monkeys too" message.  And as you say, it's myopic - laughably so imo. I personally think it's an insult and reductionist to be honest. |
