Can anyone find that complete league table that looks at all clubs and all seasons.  That'll tell us where we are...and how close Brentford are!

There's a few of these kicking around with slightly different slants....I'm looking at a couple of slightly out of date sheets of mine and based on all time points, Brentford are 43rd and we're 49th.   Based on average position finished we're 69th and Brentford 71st.

Average position finished would be a much better indicator.  I bet Grimsby aren't top 30 in that!

Here's something a bit more up to date....and shows average position in Div 3 down the years....you can see that we're pretty much neck and neck with Brentford.

I'll rephrase that, they're not on a par with us.

Quite clearly all the evidence tells you they are, also you can't really jettison the early history of clubs....Bury's 2 cup wins are an achievement.....why do you think Danny Boyle is a fan?

I think the original question addressed how 'big' the club was, not how successful.  On that basis, I think your average home attendances over the last 4 or 5 years would provide as good a guide as any.  I would imagine we would be in the high 40s on that basis.

Not that anyone should really care.   Wink

I hate these cock waving contests.

Sometimes my cock is bigger than other peoples cocks, but its not as big as john holmes.  But Ill always support it no matter if someone down the road has a bigger one because its my cock and Ive had it all my life.

To be fair it probably was at its biggest around 1994.  Downhill since then.

You are so negative and pessimistic. Does it happen to everyone when they get old? If so I don't want to live past 50.
