Like most things this years renewal price has rocketed, around 60%  No
There's one thing I'm trying to understand with pet insurance, cover tends to say 'unlimited per condition' then right next to it says for example '£7,000 limit per year'. So is it capped or not?  Huh?
My thoughts are that an ailment is unlimited but other things like accidents etc are capped. Anyone able to enlighten me?

Are you sure it doesn't mean "unlimited number of claims, up to £7000 per year" (per condition). i.e. there is an annual limited liability amount.

Its probably going to be tricky without the policy, but I guess it may be a common clause across many.

The devil will be in the detail, so I would ask that question of the company (it'll be recorded) and you can bolster any issues that hopefully don't arise!

It might be to do with repeated treatment for the same problem? Some policies will only pay out only for the first time you visit the vet/get treatment, and others allow for repeated claims for a persistent problem.
