6 weeks and no cat turds, I can safely say that rubber snake is the way to go.

Are you serious? Where did you put it? We've got same cat shitting issue. Was looking for a bag and some bricks, but if a snake really works..

Bastard cat is at it again, this time out the front. Update - we have owned a dog for nearly 4 years now and no cat turds in the back garden. Rubber snake got destroyed by said dog when it was a puppy. I put sliced lemon out the front and the cat shat on it I'm gonna order another rubber snake.

I really like cats. Used to not be a fan but that was parent influence growing up. The only time I had to deter them was from certain areas of a garden, like flower beds or sections of lawn. Finely ground black (or white) pepper worked fine about once a week. What was good, the cat(s) stayed away from said areas but still came to have a mooch for a drink, a bit of a feed and some petting.
Any straight bloke who doesn't like stroking pussy needs to have a good look at themselves.
Old reply, but this. Parents influence of not liking them growing up but Mrs has got us two now and they're class. Got rescues that don't go outside the garden thankfully as in Wichelstowe they seem to go missing every other week.

We’ve always had dogs - well, exclusively greyhounds. Lost our last one in Kefalonia but we got adopted by 3 stray cats out there which we had to bring back with us when we moved. Cost a bloody fortune but I’ve got attached to them. House cats now, which is a huge difference to their lives in Greece where they come and go as they please. Think they’ve adapted well.

Greyhounds are basically enormous cats anyway. Mine hates cats, presumably because he sees them as competition for space on the sofa.
