I went with my West Ham fan uncle to the county ground for my first game. I feel like we won 1-0 but its one of my very earliest memories that I still have access to so I could be wrong

Swindon 0-0 Norwich - pre season friendly 1995/96 season i think. Night game.
I was 7. Remember Bryan Gunn being in goal for them and being scared thinking he actually had a gun. Could barely see the game as there was a big bloke in front of me.
Peter Thorne got man of the match. Saw him leaving the stadium after the game and called his name out. He turned round and smiled at me.
Love for this cluster fuck of a club was born.
Didn't start going regularly until the 03/04 play off season when I could go with mates as my dad's a Man City fan!

I may be wrong but didn't we have a pre-season game v Norwich cancelled because of a waterlogged pitch not sure if it was that fixture or another one.

Saturday January 8th 1994, FA Cup - Third Round. Swindon Town vs Ipswich Town. Draw 1-1. Sat in the Town end and remember Andy Mutch score in front of me just before half time. Still have the ticket stubs, Adult £10, Child £5.

13th September 1975 - Swindon 2 Sheffield Wednesday 1
Anderson and Eastoe.
Have the programme framed with goal-scorers, crowd etc. Magical piece of history the gateway to a life of misery.

Spring 1980: something like STFC 3 (Rowland 2, Mayes) - Sheff Utd 2 (McHale, McPhail) in front of 6200 odd.

DOB...Think that was the year Town beat Sunderland 3 0 when the goal posts broke. Pleased that Flynn has been given the chance to get us going again. Let's hope.

Swindon 1 Halifax 1 August 1960. I think Ernie Hunt scored: 'Bert's Babes' and All That.

Thanks, I was feeling quite old with the list of 1990s and 2000s games as was 1974/75 as an 8 year old!

Possibly late 70's for me. God knows who against. I know Jimmy Allen as playing.

Neither of them still follow STFC, otherwise I would have assumed you were one of them!
