I lived in Scotland for a period of time, aye! It does sound like it should be Scottish right enough.

Is that a nose peg so that the other person can't smell the body odour?

Oscar Massey, 18 year from Plymouth. Gotta guess he’s a development player so signings like this must mean a development/u23 team next season surely?

The article about him makes him sound quite promising which begs the question why Plymouth released him?

I guess we’ll have to wait and see how much of an impact he makes next season aged just 18

I’d assume this is the first of the ‘data driven’ signings.

Probably the first young kid we've signed that is not 'highly-rated' (Given Plymouth gave him the boot)

Imagine so but you would imagine this is in the long term punt category not someone they are throwing in the squad next season.

Well, Plymouth also released Sean Morrison many years ago…and we signed him…the less said about the others…

Is it possible we've been tracking him a while, he thinks he's got more chance of breaking through here so they let him go as they knew he wouldn't sign with them?

In that situation wouldn’t they offer him something know full well he’ll turn it down and sign here and then they’d be entitled to comp right?

From a Plymouth fan -

Some of our fans were surprised to see him go as he’d scored a few goals in our academy. Oscar and his family weren’t happy at all when he was released, posting on Twitter and Instagram etc.
