Christopher Missilou has been selected to represent DR Congo for their upcoming international matches.

Is he going to be working as an assistant for this DR Congo character? passing him stethascopes etc, titter.

has there been any press coverage or mentions of twines contract. Is it confirmed he is letting it run, have the club made an offer?

I think I'm right in thinking we have to offer him one to get compo in the summer if he signs for someone else. surely Power in case he still owns the club in the summer has to get this sorted quite quick.

I know so much would depend on the league we are in, from Scott pov I'm sure as well. He might fancy a bit more league 1 but im sure he will have championship offers which would be tough to turn down.

Twine is in 'contract isn't important, staying up is' mode at the moment.

Which translates as 'I don't want to be playing in L2 next season, so let's see what happens first'.

I understand this to be the truth, and rightly so.

And rightly so as he's definitely come on this season and looking a real prospect.

Fair play to Twine, he has greatly exceeded the TEFs expectations.

I am sure there are comments from me doubting his ability from a couple of years ago.  I'm still not 100% sold on him, but he has managed to develop a couple of extra tools in the past 6 months or so, not least his long range shooting ability.  He has also benefited from finding a position  I'd like to see him played in a team designed to enable him to flourish - he now looks like the sort of player that would have excelled in the Anderson role under Wellens.

I am not saying I was a fan either.  The only positive thing I think I have ever said was that his performance in preseason suggested he might be worth being given a bit part in the team.

the problem we have is we really have a chance to develop the young ones and be patient when we are always involved in a promotion race or a relegation battle. most matches are so important.

its been mentioned loads on here and almost none of our fans would have cared too much if he left in the summer as his cameo appearances over the last fews years haven't shown much. He has now added end product and looks a fantastic prospect. all credit to him

Has Luke Haines left the club?

Alan McLoughlin just tweeted saying weeks after you left STFC you are at Wembley with Hereford.

I'm sure somebody on here mentioned he'd left a couple of weeks back.

Can't remember who though.

I would guess he's been told he won't get a deal in the summer.
