It wouldn't surprise me if Cooper subs Yas or Mass or both in a lot of games between now and January...

Get Reeves, Gladwin & Rodgers some first team gametime ready for them to takeover.

We will have to deal with them going of to the interntional cups during january anyway so time to either raid the loan market or hope the others step up to the plate

Yas and Mass haven't ever been subbed this season as far as I can recall

Mass got subbed against Sheff Utd.

* George Barker is out on loan
* I wouldn't quite say Miles Storey is in the Wilderness though.
* Da Costa is out on loan

I disagree. I'm convinced that Cooper/Power don't rate him.

My opinion is based on nothing. It's gone very quiet for him at Portsmouth too.

Hopefully Louis will break into the Welsh squad soon so we'll have our 3rd international back!!!

Perhaps we should go break Gareth Bale's legs?

Yeah, that's cool. But he's still a recognised striker. Apparently his confidence is shot at Pompey... Sad

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, but this sheds some light on recall of Brad Smith. And suggests we may get him back?

@JamesPearceEcho: Brad Smith was recalled from Swindon by #LFC over contract issues. Until he signs a new deal the club won't send him back out on loan.

Oh, well that's positive I suppose. Still, bit of a stinker to do that when we're down players anyway and have Tuesday/Saturday etc. games. Couldn't he get a couple of days off training to go and sort it out? Or couldn't some people come down here from Liverpool to do the same? Why does he have to go back?

Because reading that quote the implication is that the reason for the recall isn't so much to ensure he's physically present as to pressure him into signing a new deal - "Sign or you don't play" kind of thing. Presumably because they want a fee for him, or at least the prospect of getting one, when he does move

George Barker's loan at Tranmere has been terminated but he can't play in the Cup due to the loan agreement.

Sounds like he'll probably go out on loan somewhere soon though according to Cooper.
