Lee Cox also not in picture or given squad number.
Well if those 4 players go (Caddis, Benson, Rooney & Navarro) we would have knocked nigh on 2 million off the wage bill reading between the lines of press reports e.t.c.
As long as the squad exceeds a lot of the supporters expectations (getting relegated) then the board have done an excellent job of at least making us sustainable.
Of course if we start to do well, some fans will then demand we should be winning this league and will want us spending cash like it's gone out of fashion.
The Coventry scenario puts things into massive perspective. Roll on Saturday.

Could do a lot worse. Digby in goal, coax Paul Bodin back, get Lingy in, Fjortoft up front and that'd balance out the average of the squad somewhat. Hoddle might even stick a boot in if he's not too busy. |
