by Swindontownfc.co.uk SWINDON Town are delighted to announce two new additions to the first team coaching staff.
Luke Williams joins as a First Team Coach while Michael Cooper will fulfil the role of Sports Scientist.
32 year-old Williams has spent the last three seasons at Brighton and Hove Albion where he was in charge of the Under 21s and was a coach with the reserve team. He has also been an FA Skills Coach and has worked at Leyton Orient and at West Ham.
Cooper qualified as a Sports Scientist from the University of Hertfordshire, where he spent a year working with Championship side Watford. The 24 year-old then studied for a Masters Degree at Loughborough University where he worked with the University’s first team. He also has recent experience of working with clubs in the Premier League.

I think we can all see that an experienced target man is needed and I think this shows that is the priority.
