Conversely another shocking move by the Jones family, can you tank a season before it starts? From the Cowboys themselves. Since the Cowboys drafted Parsons in 2021, the team has been first in defensive EPA per play when he's on the field. When he hasn't been on the field, they rank last. |

The Cowboys and Jerry Jones are an utter joke, I've no idea what they're trying to achieve. I just think owning the Cowboys is a massive ego trip for Jerry. I know the Bengals um'd and ah'd getting Trey Hendrickson's contract re-done and it should have been done months ago but at least they did get it done and he will be contributing this season.... |

I think Jones still thinks he can do business the way he did 30 years ago. It's just not the same any more. Parsons gave them every opportunity to pay him.
Mad they'd pay Prescott the money they did but not Micah. Makes no sense.

It does feel good to have Trey playing this year. There's more depth in offence now...It feels like there's a lot of eggs in the Al Golden will solve everything, because our secondary scares me |

It does feel good to have Trey playing this year.
There's more depth in offence now...It feels like there's a lot of eggs in the Al Golden will solve everything, because our secondary scares me
I was very disappointed in the Bengals draft...they could have done a much better job in addressing the run D and went for a complete wild card in Shemar Stewart (although to be fair, he does have massive potential and it sounds like he's had a very good pre-season overall)...and I agree that it seems to be a case of "OK Al, wave your magic wand....over to you...." when they'd let Jessie Bates and DJ Reader walk out the door a couple of years ago. That was criminal. Overall though, in spite of the best/worst efforts of the owner/front office, when you look at the overall picture, you have to be optimistic. I mean....the skill positions are absolutely golden....JB, the receivers (obviously...and they seem to have found yet another top WR in Mitch Tinsley)....running backs - a very good room with Brown, Perine and and the rookie Brooks and Tight Ends with the addition of Noah Fant. What bugs me most about the Bengals (and it's not just them, it's the same with a lot of sports teams in the US) is that you have a 90 year old man with Mike Brown who essentially has the final word on basically, everything. A multi million dollar organization run by some fcking old dinosaur...it's bizarre...I'd say that he's not holding them back as much now as in previous years but still feel like he's a bit of a 'ball and chain' to the organization. However....In spite of my frustrations (yours are probably pretty much the same), I'm looking forward very much to the new season....feel much better with the Hendrickson signing and also Dalton Risner - I think that was massive. Who to the fucking Dey  |

I hope you're right. I thought the same for a while, now I'm not so sure. I'd love to know what the whole dynamic between Mike, Duke, Katie, Zac etc really is...I'm sure we'll never know I would agree that we're improved...are we wasting JB's best years? Only time will tell...really, really hope not... |

But it won’t be high draft picks, at best you’re looking at early 20’s, but in all likelihood 25-32 range. The Cowboys will just draft another Taco Charlton anyway ;( |
