Hoped to have seen highlights before knowing result, but never mind. Chiefs haven’t been that good all year, so not a surprise.
I knew it would be impossible to avoid the score until tonight so I just looked it up as soon as I got up. Thank fcuk the Chiefs lost...and pretty comprehensively it would seem from the scoreline. With so many narrow (some would say fortunate) wins this season, I think the Chiefs had it coming. Not watched it back yet but apparently Kelce was a non factor so I think it's high time for him to retire.... he's got more than enough irons in the fire to keep him busy and keep the $$$ rolling in...

Had Eagles to win by 10 but was surprised just how dominant they were. Most of the 22 the Chiefs got was garbage time and flatters them to be honest.

Yes, it was a complete hammering and the scoreline does not reflect the overall game at all...

Huge amount of the cap spent on 3 players while your defence is shite and Joe Burrow spends most of his time on his ass. Tbf gonna be one of the most exciting 9-8 offences going.

Not begrudging the money Burrow gets btw he is brilliant. But that much money for 2 receivers is beyond stupid when you have a QB who can't stay up right.

Tee previously being tagged means that they've lifted $12m from the cap hit this off season, so they ought to be looking at the available FA guards and re-signing Trey Hendrickson
The guard market was pretty flat once the bigger names went. A minor upgrade to most teams would be a massive leap for us atm

5-6 months ago, the prospect of the signing Chase and Higgins was unthinkable. Tee is irreplaceable IMO so I'm delighted. I think the Bengals thought they had found his replacement in the Draft with Jermaine Burton but all the signs suggest he may well be a complete head case and will turn out to be a total bust.
I think the key to this was Tee switching to Chase's agent who effectively said to the Bengals..."No deal for Tee, no deal for Ja'Marr" which effectively swung it. They still need to sign a couple of veteran Guards in Free Agency (may well only get one, plus one in the draft), get Hendrickson's contract re-done and then go all out on D in the draft.
To the original point though, it is indeed most un-Bengals like and does strongly suggest that Old Man Brown doesn't have the iron grip on the organisation he once had and is much more of a figure head these days (as he should be at the age of 90 next birthday!)

I’m wondering if San Fran have any WRs they want to give to the Denver 49ers! 😎

I can't understand why the 49ers traded Mason, he looked decent (not quite cMac level but a solid option)

49ers are going full rebuild, likely so they absorb Purdy moving from his rookie contract. We have such an ability to go from a Championship winning team to also rans from one season to the next.

49ers and Bengals were the big under-achievers in the NFL last season...

IMHO I think teams should be trying to draft the two best CBs, the best defensive tackle, turn a failed DL into the best linebacker in the league, get a generational offensive line coach, turn a rugby player into the best left tackle in the league, sign the best running back in the league and have one of the best WR duos in the league
To be fair to the bengals, they’ve achieved the last one
