Yep, have tomorrow booked off.

Same here.
I watched the first play off game for San Fran after taking a coupld of hours kip before.  The had a full on night planned for the Divisional Championship where I had beers in, hot dogs, wings, pretzels and invited my brother over. Only totally fucked up and planned it for the Saturday, so ended up watching boxing on the Saturday and then having a sober affair for the game day.
Used to stay up as a kid to watch it in the late 80's and as a 49ers fan was spolied, but then they were shit for a long time.  Looking forward to it.

It's good with friends + beer + snacks + gambling. The breaks give you ample time to get more beer/ get more snacks/ make more bets/ go to the toilet.

May have to try and get a couple of mates round to watch then to give it more of a chance, have to say I only know 1-2 people who watch NFL avidly though.

Managed to catch Atlanta Falcons vs Denver Broncos earlier this season when I had a few days in Atlanta. For a 60 min match, it in reality lasted well over 3 hours. Was good to watch live as are most sports but not sure if I would enjoy as much on TV. Also thought that quite a few of the fans didn't really know the rules, sounds like the Arkells on a good day.

Yeah, just like going to the CG, it's luck of the draw who you have sitting around you. Some people are complete idiots but then again I went to a game in Baltimore earlier in the season and the guys who were sat behind us had encyclopedic knowledge of the game.

Think its going to be tight as fuck but I'm going 49ers - I think Kaepernick will be the difference. Very, very tough one to call though.
