Indeed, though I doubt I'd have been delighted if it was us with Ritchie and it was made public the day before the FA Cup game. That said, they haven't been playing him. So it wasn't exactly key for them. If the pikeys did cup tie him on purpose then his value has gone down rather than up.
On reflection my comment was a bit silly. And yes he was already cup tied.
