The Boys had been mentioned a lot

Not a fan of superheroes and that sort of thing but I thought it was very good.

Watched the Rob Burrow documentary about living with MND on the iplayer this morning. Really sobering and upsetting to see. Really puts life into perspective. The guy has battled with the disease with real heart and humour, his and his family come across hugely positively.

The Boys is really the anti super hero show though. It technically is about super heros but hardly the same as anything else in the same genre. Great show.

The English Game on Netflix.
Based on Fergus Suter at Darwen/Blackburn FC in the 1870's. Good stuff

Must admit I found it pretty dull and boring, interesting concept but poorly executed.

The White Lotus is superb

Check the comments below that video.

It's 2nd series is just about to air so I wondered what else I had missed and did some research. These are now in my queue:

Cobra Kai
You (continung with this, forgot I had got to the final episode of series 2 when my Netflix ended)
Mare of Easttown (Kate Winslet is supposed to be amazing)
Lupin
The Flight Attendant
The Landscapers (Olivia Colman is brilliant in anything)

Cobra Kai is a must see, brilliantly nostalgic.

Cobra Kai is great. Smiley
The Boys is great. Smiley

I recommend "The Watcher" on Netflix.
Only seven episodes, suspenseful and will keep you guessing all the way.  Yes

Onto last episode of Black Bird which was enjoyable.

Any recommendations for Crime Thrillers? No Docuseries as covered most of those.

Gangs of London any good?

Gangs of London any good?

First series was good, though casting the younger Shelby brother from Peaky Blinders as the main character was IMO a mistake. Didn't stop me enjoying it though.

If you have BritBox or torrent things, then The Shadow Line is a BBC crime thriller from 2011 that was absolutely superb - amazing cast, script and plot.

There are loads of great actors and performances but Rafe Spall as an utter psycho was 10/10.

Really enjoyed the Devil's Hour on Prime. Really well acted and a story that kept me guessing until the last episode. Peter Capaldi is a great 'villain'

They've been hammering the promo for that. Capaldi's always worth a go.
