You know, the grunting didn't really bother me until a massive fuss was made in various tabloids then it became more apparent.

I wasn't aware of the fuss in the tabloids TBH I never ever read them. The mumbling did spoil it, I have bad tinnitus anyway and it was awful having the volume so loud that when any bangs or shouting came up it nearly shook the room yet I could barely make out the words many spoke, but the lead character was by far the worst for me..

Funny you should say that, I watched it and really enjoyed it, however the missus watched the first one and then gave up as she cannot abide Tom Hardy!

Some decent shows binned after 1 or 2 series recently. Stalker was promising. Enjoyed Agent Carter and Conviction.
Net result is Maggie Q and Hayley Atwell withdrawal symptoms.

I know after all the fuss when he did the bedtime story on Cbeebies and lots of mums had to excuse themselves shortly afterwards.

Have started watching Legion, thought the first one was interesting, the second just seemed a bit up itself. Haven't built the enthusiasm to watch the third or fourth yet.
Anyone watched/watching, is it worth the effort

The third episode is much better in my opinion, not watched episode 4 yet, I'll continue but I'm yet to be hooked.

I'm uptodate, so 3 or 4, not sure which, but I've given up. There's lots to like about it, as it's quite unique feeling and I'm sure students of film would have massive circlular wank trains over some of it, but it's now getting on my tits and feels a bit self-indulgent. Edit: Just checked. It was episode 4 I last watched and I decided enough was enough.

Same here with Legion. Doesn't seem to be going anywhere so have given up.
