It made perfect sense in the context of the Tv show.

I've found this series a bit disappointing compared to the excellent first. But I assume he will eb getting his comeuppance.
Yes, the first series was better.

The missing finale was fucking superb.
Looking forward to broadchurch in January now

Confirmed at the end another series is on it's way too.  To do with a little girl that goes missing and how the family cope when they get her back by the looks of the short trailer.

Opinion has been pretty split on the final episode but I liked. The subtle facial expression the kid gave Nesbitt at the end certainly left a little unanswered question for me.

Gillian Anderson is absolutely memorising me in this I must admit, she is aging extremely well

Excellent final episode I thought, in the particular the main interview scene.

The last couple of minutes was a pointless storyline twist and really wasn't needed though

I think that the final twist (better not say what it was in case it spoils things for anyone yet to watch it) was the only way they could finish it.  I could see its significance and why the Gillian Anderson character was so upset about it.  But it was a bit far fetched that the journo and the other guy could have got to the right spot in the forest so quickly.

She seems to be a little more composed under the pressure too...

Apart from when Ricky was interviewing her and she crumbled everso slgihtly.

Mark seemed very confident until he made his shambolic pitch the week before. They haven't really gone too much into business idea so it's either brilliant or fairly ordinary.

The imbiciles are back this week, that retard Sarah probably the worst of a terrible bunch of people!

I think Bianca will win too. For the same reasons Bob's orange gave.
