Are you talking to yourself,  SP?

Yes, apparently so.  But then again, sometimes it's the only way to get a sensible answer.  Cheesy

The complete series of Scrubs being available on Sky On Demand.
Been a joy watching it all through again, one of my all time favourite shows.

So, tell me about series I should be watching

I know about, but have yet to watch Breaking Bad, House of Cards etc. Worth it?

I've watched most of the highly rated stuff on Sky/terrestrial - GoT, Boardwalk Empire, Homeland etc.

What gems am I missing?

The Wire?

Wire is brilliant - once your ears tune in to the accent/slang

If you can get hold of The Good Wife that's worth watching

Breaking Bad, House of Cards = Must watch
Also recommend The Wire, Sopranos with a mention to The West Wing...

About 27 seasons of TV there, should keep you busy..

Basically....A 50 year old chemistry teacher with no money and 2 jobs and a new child on the way is diagnosed with cancer which he cannot afford to pay for the treatment of.

His brother in law is a Drug Enforcement Agent and takes him on a "ride along" where they arrest a drug supplier, he decides to try his hand at making crystal meth and finds out his very good at it and can make lots of money, with lots of twists and turns, killings and moral dilemmas.

Me and the missus heard a lot of people recommend it and we weren't sure about the content as it didn't sound like our sort of programme, within the first half an hour of the pilot episode we were hooked and then watched all 62 episodes inside 3 weeks.

Never had a series grip us like that one did, yes there are some not so great ones but in the main its fantastic.
