World Cup Brush Up with Danny Baker on BBC4 at 11. I like Baker's stuff, and some of these world cup shoes have been painful, hopefully this will buck the trend.

I thought Brush Up was brilliant but regardless it's the complete opposite of the usual youthful talking heads shite.

Brush Up reminded me the the great Own Goals & Gaffs series Baker did in the early/mid 90's.

Clips I'd never seen before,  Trevor Francis getting bashed on the bonce by an automatic coach door.

Yep, plenty of stuff I hadn't seen too.

Blue Peter's description of Pickles' death was brutal considering what their audience was...!

It's recorded to watch later, but that is a ringing endorsement.

I wanted to kill Murrs and Ferdinand.  Reminiscing with some twatty yoof tv presenters who were born in 1984 about Gordon Banks save from Pele.  Cunts.

The worst 'looking back moment' comes from the unlikely source of Neil Warnock aka Colin Wanker. Apparently his favourite World Cup match ever was Italy v W Germany in 1970. According to Colin he remembers watching the game thinking 'here we go again Germany are going to win on penalties, again, just like they always do'. Even though it was 12 years before Germany actually won a World Cup penalty shoot out.

World cup rewind on bbc red button at 10.30. Showing the whole match of Scotland v Holland in 1978 world cup.

I've just started watching Vikings, I'm 4 episodes in.

I love the main character. He's slick, but you get the impression that he's about to go fucking nuts and kill every cunt around him at any moment. His misses is well fit as well.

And I love the boat owner guy with the eye make up. He's like a psychotic Jack Sparrow.

Finally up to date with GOT. Found last night's episode a bit disappointing but it's been otherwise brilliant.

Yup, hopefully.

I thought the problem with last night's was that it suffered a bit from keeping with the one area of action. Good Sam episode, but ultimately not the story I wanted resolving and didn't much progress the plot (on the face of it).

Erm, don't want to spoil it for anyone ..

Got four episodes of GoT to catch up on tomorrow.

I've managed to avoid most spoilers so am excited.

Though I started reading the books whilst on holiday, not sure how my brain is going to cope with reading book/ season two and then watching season 4 tomorrow!

GoT has been getting juicier and juicier. I couldn't remember exactly what happened in the books for the past couple of episodes and it made it so much more fun to catch up on them.

Saw the new series of Legend of Korra has been leaked in Spanish as well, spoilers everywhere, but I shall be awaiting it properly.

The season has been the best of GOT by far IMO.  Although I agree with what you say about last nights episode with regards to story Batch, it was a stand out episode with regards to action and production etc.  At times it reminded me of watching some of the big scenes in the LOTR movies, especially with the addition of a few new faces.

I thought the 360 degree continuous scene in the courtyard was brilliantly filmed.
