Agreed. It was a bit obvious but the story was told quite well with some decent acting and Sheridan Smith with not a lot on.

Caught House of Fools on iplayer last night. Usual strangeness from Vic and Bob, but very funny. If you like them episode 1 is there, episode 2 the end of this week I think.

House of Fools has got the feel of a 60's/70's sitcom and is a bit groany/cringy at times but Vic and Bob are still more than worth it. Those two take prop comedy to another level.

I've caught some of it this season as well and it's been absolute bonkers. The ratings have been so good, the series has been extended, so it is now not finishing this Friday.

I'm looking forward to the second series of The Following, which starts this week.  It will be interesting to see where it goes after all the twists in the final episode of series 1 and who actually died.
