Recommend The League to those of you who have not seen it.

The League really dipped during the last season. The battle for The Shiva should always be the focus and hopefully they'll get back on track.

Only half way into season 4 at the moment, certainly not as strong as at the beginning. Nothing is though at the moment, roll on Community Season 5.

Community survived a rough ride though and got lucky as NBC had to keep something after losing/axing The Office, 30 Rock, Whitney and Go On from its schedules. Incidentally, I thought Go On had a second season in it but the people of the U.S.A. did not.

I thought Happy Endings was moving forward very nicely. Cancelled  Roll Eyes

I've got to the end of Breaking Bad now. What a moment to leave it on and I can't wait for the next ones.

Need something to tide me over in the meantime though. Am considering the Sopranos, Homelands and Midsomer Murders (no joke). I've seen the Wire already. Any suggestions from a wiser TEF'er? I hardly watch TV so need something really good to justify it.

If you've never watched Sopranos I seriously urge you to. For me, it's the best programme ever made. Boardwalk Empire is also very good.

Homeland is decent enough stuff but watching the Sopranos will improve your quality of life.

It really is... think you can download a torrent for the whole series if you fancy getting through it quicker.

True but the final scene of series 4 is just gold.

Okay, I'll give the Sopranos a whirl. I watched the first 8 or so of Boardwalk, didn't really get going for me.

I've just started on the sopranos. Gonna watch the lot starting from scratch. Friends have raved about it so now it's available via the sky boxsets I'm in.
just finished it. 83 episodes over a month. It's brilliant. Didn't like the ending though

There is a clue in an earlier episode in the last series as to what happened.  Take a look back and listen to what is said in the episode where Tony is out on the boat in the lake in Italy, just before he has the fight with his buddy.

One line explains the closing scenes.  Worth watching the last episode back too, especially the restaurant scene.  It keeps switching from 2 perspectives if you watch, one through Tony's eyes, and one through other characters.  Tis quite clever actually.
