The movie was a bit of a shame, but it was totally predictable that it would be shit.

It was a bit of a letdown. The scene where they dance over to the group of birds had me in tears mind you

Nothing has challenged The Thick of It for me. Curb is up there.

I still sit down and watch Father Ted and laugh every time...can't get enough of it.

Can't believe I forgot Father Ted - one of the best lines ever:

I could list loads of brilliant British sitcoms but Spaced is by far and away my favourite.

Pretty much anything that Graham Linehan or Chris Morris are involved with are great.

I'd agree with that.

I really enjoyed the IT Crowd.  On the surface it seems like a cheesey/throwaway comedy, but there is always a thread of satire and a couple of belly-laughs per episode.

Peep Show, Inbetweeners, Mighty Boosh, I.T Crowd, Black books Garth Marenghi are probably the only decent British Comedys of the past decade, and even they are pushing the older end of that spectrum.

The current roster of sitcoms are pure shit. Shit puns as in that youtube clip on the last page, shit slapstick (e.g. Miranda) or whatever the fuck Mrs browns boys is meant to be

The only consistently funny TV shows are the panel shows, and thats only because they're a vaguely themed stand up vehicle.

It is difficult to think of anything recent that could contend with the ones you've mentioned.

I caught a few minutes of something truly awful the other night, Plebs, and something even worse last year called something like Beaver Falls?  Unbelievable that these things get commissioned.

I saw Matt Berry's band years ago - Very weird but ultimately a very good night.

Listening to 'One Track Lover' live was great.

Can't believe I forgot Father Ted - one of the best lines ever:

Stuff like this is just what makes Ted so hilarious every time I watch it. Linehan is a genius...pretty sure it's him that provides the killer blow at the end of this clip. Fecking tragedy what happened to Dermot Morgan, just as he was on the cusp of making it big thanks to Ted.

Armando Ianucci is another hero...classic partridge...

Not sure if I should admit it, but i think New Girl is brilliant...and it's got Zoey Dechannelle in it...ooofff.
