Harry Pearce is one of my favourite characters from any TV show or film ever.
Oh yeah, forgot about him. I can't believe he gets skinned alive by the Taliban in series 8.

I stopped watching Hustle last series. It's become very cheesy and over the top. Love the bird, but not even she could force me to watch it now.

Harry Pearce is indeed a great character .
He always looks as though he just discovered the cat shat in his slippers. Close to losing it, yet somehow still in control.

Series 4 finale of Six Feet Under was immense. I'm dreading the final series; I've watched the first four series of the Wire a few times now but can never bring myself to watch the fifth and final series as it's just too damn painful

Agreed, just rehashing old episodes now. Just how many art fake ones have they done?! Have recently finished Dexter Season Six, very good with a cracking ending. Can't wait for Season Seven.

David Jason's in something really very, very shit on TV right now. (Don't know what it's called.)
You have a legendary career behind you, including one of the best loved comic roles in generation...and you do need to do this? Why?! What the fuck were you thinking? And you should shoot your agent.

Wish I read the book first Bob, learnt a few things during last nights episode, clay kickers is a term I haven't heard before. Was the book a best seller?

I've heard that. Couldn't get into it on the box last night at all though. I'll try the book if its available on Kindle.

Not a big expert on books generally but according to wiki it's regarded at faulkes best work and is highly regarded amongst critics. Well worth a go.
