Fresh Meat was quite funny last night. Probably the best one yet actually. Jack Whitehall cracks me up in that programme.

Ricky Gervais' new show starts tonight. Not sure what that will be like but i'm going to give it a go.

I am loathe to say I actually find him pretty funny in that show too.

Fresh Meat has definitely got a lot better after a slow start, I've really enjoyed the last few episodes and i thought the first couple were really cack.

Really? I thought the first 2 were wank and stopped there. Might give it another chance, will i need to catch up to understand the plots?

You'd probably be better off doing that. The main negative with the show is that an hour seems quite long to build up to the amusing conclusion.

One show I've not caught as often as I'd have liked is Him & Her over on BBC 3.

I would recommend Archer. An animated series with a retarded MI5 spy. I watched a few online and was in stitches, then a year later it appeared on Channel 5, or 5 USA, one of the "5" channels on sky... If you like Family Guy, American Dad etc then this is for you.

To be honest, I don't like most of Merchant & Gervais' stuff as I find it too cringe-worthy. Some episodes of Extras (series 1) and the Office were good but far too many were completely crap to warrant the arse-licking from the media that these two get.

Was a bit weird watching someone do what felt like a Ricky Gervais impression.

The Liam Neeson scene was bloody brilliant though.

Pretty much sums Gervais up - living off of famous celebrities who are falling over themselves to be associated with him.

Thought it was half decent myself. Amusing in places without being brilliant but may be a grower. The Liam Neeson scene was definitely the highlight though admittedly.
