"“Not long after he arrived I read an interview in the local paper with Lou Macari stating that because of my lifestyle and outlook I would never fully recover from the injuries I suffered and would never play competitively again. Obviously that was the biggest motivation I could receive! I have always been a highly motivated person anyway and I believe I would have returned to competitive football regardless of Macari’s comments, but they definitely put a bit more fire in my belly! I did think Macari was very unprofessional to make these comments though and, although he was a great great player, I felt he was completely out of his depth as a manager"

nice, yeah it's been done before but at least it's personal.  i've got nothing i care about enough to have something symbolic and don't just want to get a star or something.  had thought about literally two lines next to eachother one bold one thinner but just cannot make my mind up.  maybe a watch or something as i don't actually like to physically wear one

Boris Johnson's speech at the 'One year to go' Olympic ceremony.

Very good wasn't it.

"Our stadiums are so ready we may as well call a snap Olympics tomorrow" Smiley
