To continue the goodness this week I made £370 profit on betfair last night and I've booked tickets to see Senna on Saturday (cheers for the heads up Benny).

Just checked after reading this, and anyone who's interested, Empire at Greenbridge are showing Senna 5 times a day from Friday! Cheesy

Saw that for the first time a few weeks ago on DVD.  Brilliant film.  Were Don Revie and Billy Bremner really complete wankers, or did the film just do a hatchet job on them?

I watched the Clough programme after and the Leeds players said there were no actions to get him sacked and McGovern who played for him at Derby, Leeds & NF said there were player meetings at which they dicsussed how to get him sacked. The Leeds players also so that Bremner was a nice chap with no malice.

I'm on the side that the Leeds players were nasty but the film had some artistic license.

Just a touch! The scene with cloughie on his knees begging Taylor to come back? Also, his stint at Brighton seemed to be inaccurate.

The When Saturday Comes review of Tim Lovejoy's book. It's pretty old now but every now and then someone links to it and it never ceases to be the best book review ever commited to print.

I've not read that before. I'm glad you brought that to my attention Nemo. Lovejoy really is a deplorable jizzcock.

Keeping the Italian theme, one of the oddest ends to a penalty shoot out ever (from equivalent of L2 playoff final)
