All I’m saying is that some people who were vaccinated still died.
And many who were unvaccinated died too.

Oh no. I didn’t say they were wrong. They just didn’t know what the outcome would be. They made assumptions. But they were wrong about vaccines preventing transmission - they didn’t. They were wrong about vaccines preventing death - they didn’t.
Did they, I am far from an expert on such matters but I don't recall there ever being a suggestion from a credible source that vaccines would prevent transmission and vaccines always reduce the chances of death but never eradicate it?

As someone who probably goes to a pub at 'peak hours' about once a year these days, the fuss this is going to cause.... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-66785823From recollection Slug and Lettuces aren't oo bad, but aren't Yates rough as fuck? So... unhappy hour? It's not a genius bit of marketing, but pubs have always changed prices based on times, they just used to be smart enough to call it "discounts before 6pm" rather than making it sound this shit.

I did, you posted data showing 11k deaths likely caused by the Vaccine, for ALL of Europe. How many Vaccines were used in that period in that region? Many hundreds of millions. How many deaths were likely caused by Covid in the same period - UK has 206k mentioning Covid, so across Europe I presume it's 7 figures. 11k vs 1m - I know which side I'd take my chances on.

That was their main argument . Get vaccinated and protect everyone else. Anyway, enough of this statistical to and fro. Most people have their views and will stick to them. Let’s hope we don’t have to go through it all again this winter.

I'm using data because you keep shifting your claim - the data doesn't support anything you are claiming. 1.6m deaths associated with Covid in Europe vs. 11k associated with a Vaccine.

But if 95% of those 1m who died were vulnerable and a high % of those 11,000 were perfectly healthy that would be a reason to think twice. All after the event mind.

Oh, and we are going to go on with forever - it's now endemic, like the Flu and the common cold (a close relative). There are annual Flu shots provided, because some people remain at risk of complications, same thing is going to happen with Covid, maybe a few more people than Flu needing shots. Sorry to break it to you. That's what good Public Health management is all about. Nobody is making you take them, but at least use the right data when considering your options.

Which is why we use the Excess Death number as well, which seems to have confused you. We have seen a very close correlation between Covid death numbers and Excess deaths. That means we can infer it's a fucking problem - it's the single biggest likely cause. People were taken "before their time" - shown by the fact this reduced life expectancy for the first time in decades. It's also why, like the Flu, the ongoing need to take a Booster or new shot is likely going to be for those most at risk, assuming no new strains that out wit us. Nobody seems too concerned that old people get a flu shot, or those with conditions like Asthma.

Has the thread derailed slightly and crossed over from it's sister thread as I'm struggling to find anything that makes me smile or feel good🤣

They are actually knocking covid vaxxing back compared to last year over here, last year it was over 50's and those with health risks, this year its over 65's and those with health risks. Its wait and see time again for me, some years they decide I do get a flu and covid, other years they decide I don't!

The new-ish pizza place opposite the co-op in old town is happily advertising that you can park in the co-op car park free for 90 minutes. How brazen it is made me smile, and therefore I wrote about it in this thread
