Escaped serious injury this morning. Cycled down to a beach with a steep gradient down. Brakes failed half way down. Hurtled uncontrollably to the bottom where I crashed into the back of a parked car. Unbelievably, I managed to leap off just before impact and landed on my feet!

There was some kind of churchy religious building where the cars were parked. Luckily the one I hit looked like a rhino had got there before me so it was hard to tell what, if any, damage I may have caused.

Bless them, an old fella came out with some water, some foul cinammon bun that was drier than a nun’s chuff and some sort of sesame roll. I got a cheery wave as I struggled back up said hill.

Now, obviously the gang are criminals, but it's hard not to crack a wry smile when you look at the section that includes a chat support option for the companies they hit!  How professional.  I sort of presume they have their own HR dept, although I guess they'd have a hard time pressing home the need to stick to company rules and policies.

Liverpool fans moaning that the ref and Var for the Manure game are from Manchester. The irony.  Smiley

I had the pleasure of being a supplier to this real old school gentleman and his shop when I was in sales. Always gave me an order and often regaled me of his time running the line and refereeing games. He did run the line at the county ground on a number of occasions and as the article says not just in this country. I hope he has a happy and healthy retirement.

I guess there aren't too many of them left in business now. And the ones that are will be of the same age.

Great to have done that and the football though. Playoff final, Barca, the County Ground. Nice
