Is there is widely-held view that he's skimming 'profit' and failing to reinvest?
Is there much money to be made from a League 1 club? Personally I just think he's inept and has an inflexible finance/business structure that does not allow for the sudden or unexpected costs of a football club. He's spent money, hundreds of thousands on transfers and the training ground - so no, I'd said he's not skimming. No idea what widely-held views there may be.

I'm glad that our hosts yesterday got the full "Scunthorpe's a shit hole" treatment. An entirely accurate exercise in observational away fan humour.
Once visting fans to the CG this season have set foot upon the new gateway from the station to the town centre, then I'm quietly confident that we won't be hearing any similar chants from a desolate corner of the Arkells.
Besides, where else would visitors get to experience one of the Wonders of the Modern World directly outside a football ground.

What a cracking weekend, slavetraders dicked by Leeds, Rovers beat, Numb beat and the pox only getting a point, lets set the pace like this all season. This could be the one we've all been waiting for.

What? Manchester Road? Or as it is oft known, lower Baghdad.
