But then you get the top with no custard on and the bottom with all the custard on. I’ve tried eating them side up but to no avail.

Using any sort of utensil isn’t an option.

Take the top off, rotate it 180 and put it underneath so that the icing is underneath and you have a double layer of pastry with custard on top.

Custard slices.

Lovely as they are they are impossible to eat without all the innards squirming out the sides. Is there a skill to eating them?

Must be the messiest food.

Hopefully not so messy that Mrs Audrey needs to be warned about stray custard ending up on the face.

Indeed. Any sort of creamy substance is a definite no-no.

Watching my sons u15 team this morning. 1-0 up after three minutes, 1-3 at half time playing like complete strangers. Within minutes of the restart 1-4. So with 20 mins or so to play (40 each half) they suddenly woke up, remembered who they were and what they were supposed to be doing and ran out 8-4 winners.

Tea?
No I don't think so, I am pretty sure stopping for tea actually disrupts the natural rhythm of the sweeper, they do with the road sweepers down here anyway.

A mop....thats a different matter though.

Apparently the drug in question prevents your hand shaking. Useful when holding your stones handle I suppose...
