I watched the Young Ones over and over as a teenager, probably at least 15 times each episode, and never ever knew about this character.

I watched the DVD earlier and lo and behold the 5th Young One character really is there.

I loved the Young Ones....reminded me of my own student days, but about 10 years out of date. I remember at the time I had a bird, who was about 10 years younger and a student....she didn't get it at all.

I watched an old episode once, and decided unlike say something like Blackadder it didn't keep well.

Thanks for that, just prompted me to go and buy the box set!
Seem to remember plenty of subliminal single frame shots, particularly in S2.

Will probably follow up with Bottom box set as well.

It's nice they've worked hard to subvert the idea that people who spend their time in starbucks are posh hipsters by focusing on a branch in Saffron Walden and a girl called Fleur

Most of that sentence sounds like the ingredients of a hipster dish..
