There aren't any extra ingredients in that are there?

One of the potential replacements for Sepp Blatter is called Tokyo Sexwhale.

It amuses me.

Its actually Tokyo Sexwale https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_Sexwale

However that doesn't diminish its comedy value.

I am no football expert (I support Swindon for gods sake) but I am a little unclear how failing to beat Stoke makes the critics look stupid?

I genuinely think the guy is having some sort of breakdown. Nothing he says makes any sense. I'd be quite concerned if I knew him.

guess he's saying the effort was there, but he certainly is coming out with some bizarre stuff recently.

Think I'm in the minority that likes him.

I think it just shows that if you are doing well you can essentially say and do what you like and no one questions it, however if you are doing poorly (they only have 3 points more than Bournemouth!) you act the same way and get greater scrutiny and appear like a total loon!

It just illustrates that you can be a complete wanker and if you are doing well the media will give you something of a free reign, don't think I can ever recall the media turning as noticeably as they have with him!

I am not doubting his managerial record, but over the last few months (combined with reading a lot about his time at Real Madrid) I just get the impression he is an incredibly arrogant (which isn't a terrible thing) and unpleasant bully (which is).

There is definitely a psychology dissertation in studying the man!

I'm a trainee psychologist :p

There is very much a quality of egotism that is beneficial on the job.. A bit like how psychopaths have a lot in common with politicians. But it's not his lack of success and what he says, I think he's genuinely gone a bit mental (admittedly that's not the technical term..)

There's only so far you can take the "it's us (or rather, me) vs them" attitude.

He's a narcissist.

He cannot contemplate that his opinion may be wrong and if it was the world would make a little less sense.

Bit like some posters!

There was a guy on the Southampton team on this week who used to be a season ticket holder up with us in the DRS a few years back.
