Popped into Sainsburys this evening for last minute.com flowers and card for tomorrow. Popped down the meat isle to check out they reductions. Picked up a 2KG beef rib roast for 6 quid, down from 20.

if that was bridgemead, they were £12 when I looked. Still I hoovered up the lamb chops and a cpl of fresh burgers.

This could go in the Beer thread, but I was at the Festival of Winter ales in Devizes last night.

Brilliant line up of beers (and ciders). Really hope this one becomes an annual event.

Ah a week of easy commuting

And for my commute, they may actually open the A350 dual carriageway improvement works into Chippenham on Tuesday night - it looks finished and the road is closed that evening..

It takes me far long to drive the few miles from my house to the M4 J16, than it does from M4 to my work.In Chippenham.

Croissants filled with a strong Danish blue cheese.

The wife's going to love me. Blue cheese tends to make my farts rather special.
