So, do you think there is another Flashheart in another universe living a different life due to different choices being made along the way?

Here's another mind-fuck for yah.

It is estimated that in the observable universe, there is 5-10 as many stars as there are grains of sand on ALL of the beaches on planet Earth.

That I can understand. As can I understand the our sun is miniscule compared to VY Canis Majoris.

Meh, just finished downloading that image. Wasn't even a struggle to open (sort of hoped it would be) and then it was not even particularly exciting. Hoped it'd have a bit more clarity/detail. To be expected I suppose.

Very funny!

So the latest bid is £154,000. Does this have to be paid, or are the bidders having a laugh?

Finding out that the great Phil Silvers Show - 'Bilko' - is being repeated on Forces TV (Sky 264) twice a day...recorder at the ready!

[For you young-uns, this is a US comedy first aired in the '50s. Recorded live, the scripts with their one-liners and wisecracks still sound great, in my view, despite being best part of 60 years old.]

I own a lot of The Phil Silvers Show episodes on DVD (I'm 31).

The extras include a few cracking cigarette commercials by the cast for its sponsors.

If you stare through the bottom picture you can see a 3d picture of the Statue of Liberty.

I've got a lot on DVD too, but not my all-time fave, when they do the Elvis skit - Elvin Pelvin - with Bilko trying to record him singing so he can (natch) make a million $.

I'm laughing just at the thought of the show.
