Greenhouses. Stones.

I know I'm not there to contribute but, just saying innit. (feeling a tad belligerent)

I am aware that we were used for shooting practice in the Prem but we didn't spend many many million getting there like they have done (if indeed they do).

I was referring to the comments about the atmosphere. By all accounts the County Ground has hardly been a cauldron of passion for some time either.

Ah, although both could indeed apply, yes the atmosphere at the CG has got steadily worse over the last couple of years that is very true.

I know my dad is buried there (well his ashes anyway) but there is no need for it to have an atmosphere like a chapel of rest.

It never used to be like that, we have had some brilliant atmospheres in the CG with much smaller crowds than we have now.

I can't remember when it was last so loud that the sound of the chants muffles and vibrates in your ears. If you know what I mean.

Yeah I have had days in the TE when my eyeballs have vibrated in their sockets, great days.

For the record it made me neither smile nor feel good at the time!

Went to my school's Christmas Concert tonight (mostly as the wife dragged me as she teaches a lot of the kids), which in itself was brilliant, but my favourite bit was hearing one of my tutor group sing and play piano to a song he'd written himself. He was incredible, a brilliant voice. I'm so proud of him, and glad I told him afterwards how bloody good he was.

I think I'll send my husband to get some.  It's him keeping me awake with his cough while the baby is no trouble!

My boy's first word is a (Thai) swearword. Ooops, this amuses me. (It's also the Thai word for monitor lizard)
