Of course, there have been coaches in English football, who've been a bit like lost prophets....
Instinctively, the English just don't like possession football, a fact for which there was plenty of evidence on here last season, with TEFers slagging off the Power/Cooper template.
And who were the most recent coaches these islands sent abroad? Hodgson, Souness, Gary Johnson and Chris Coleman. And what did they teach the world? To see Bobby Carlos and not to pretend your washing machine broke when you were really at the student disco trying to pick up teenagers. Oh and to avoid the risk of taking this off at a tangent - possession football isn't boring. Playing it in a certain way can be very defensive though - just as with more direct football, or counter-attacking football, or long-ball etc.

I'm making Pizza cake for a friend's birthday this year. Judging by my previous efforts at such a construction it will be amazing.

Not forgetting Brian Deane, who's plying his trade as boss of Tippeligaen side Sarpsborg....not sure how they're going but SY can tell us.

Thankfully we're not at a level where billionaire businessmen from the Far East decide to buy us as a trophy investment. But if we were, it could look something like this. (He's even learned their nickname and everything!) Dear the Royals,
Thank you for all Reading FC' best supporters.
Actually I wish that I can talk to you all personally but the increasing numbers of our fantastic fans are making me have no much time to do that. However I will try my best to answer all your questions both in FB or in person.
I hope that I can be a part of this club & helping our team achieve our goal, Premier League, very soon.
Without you, it's too difficult for me to work very effectively over there in Reading. As a result I promise to all of you that I will do my best for our club and I will also dedicate my life helping this club getting better day by day. I am sure that we can make a big surprise in this coming season 2014-2015! Hope to see you very soon in U.K.
Take care & best regards,
Samrit B.
