Nostril hairs, the really thick ones that when you pull them out almost bring a tear to your eye, but they are so think you can roll them around between your fingers for ages.

You just gotta to admire these Frenchies when either the WC or Euro championships come round.

Very surprised Nasri hasn't been selected, he's had a good season.

Winning the Premier League with 11 games remaining. 15th consecutive PL title, 165 games unbeaten and 36 game winning streak.

Deschamps all but said that he was a prick that he didn't want around. Something about not being good for the squad and picking the best squad, not the best 23 players. He must be a total tool to stand out in that squad!

Haha, really? Fair play to him in that case!

I see Franco Di Santo has been preferred to Tevez in the Argentina squad... that's a strange one.

According the the likes of Tim Vickery Di Santo isn't even close to going, he's just in the 30, like a standby. Tevez isn't there as he won't/can't play with Messi, Aguero and Higuain and frankly he's not been good for Argentina.

I've been waiting for the Argie squad....in Messi, Aguero, Lavezzi, Higuain, they've a front line way ahead of anything else at the tournament.  Not so sure about the rest....although I rate Zabelleta along with Dani Alves and Lahm as probably the best right backs around.

Don't know owt about the keepers, but if Willy Cabellero doesn't get a look in they must be good.

Still having Martin Demichelis kicking around might not be a good sign, but they can afford to leave out the likes of Mateo Mussachio and Frederico Fazio....get a chance to compare Fazio and Ezekiel Garay in tonight's Europa final.

Midfield....no Pastore, and Ever Banega has been shit this season. Javier Mascherano hasn't played midfield for about 3 years at club level, so not sure who the creative player is...Angel Di Maria is always good for a few dives, but can be brilliant on his day.

On pure talent Argentina, have by far the best individuals and it's in their own back yard. I'm certain that Messi has been saving himself a bit for this as his chance for immortality beckons.

I know England have no chance, so I'm hoping for an Argie triumph.

Guess if Gago is fit, he will take the other midfield slot, otherwise is it Biglia of Lazio? You clearly know far more than me but isn't it Romero as first choice 'keeper? Although he hasn't played much club football - bit like Julio Cesar.

They are playing in the south and middle of Brazil and so don't have the long trips either - plus plenty of support, especially when in Porto Alegre. Should be good to watch though as the talent is clearly there - certainly in the forward areas at least - wasn't Isabella quoted as saying he shuts his eyes when they have to defend?

One of the great things about cup football, is that the best side doesn't necessarily win.  We know that Scolari, can get something from a couple of decent players, and the likes of Kleberson and Roque Junior....so maybe he can do it again. Although Neymar has talent...is there anything else to match Rivaldo, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho.

A Brazil/Argentina final is possible....I'm starting to get a bit excited by the thought of a World Cup on the horizon....or should that be Belo Horizonte,

Going to Kent next week for a couple of nights and have bought tickets to Howletts Wild Animal Park.

Looking on their website, they've got fucking honey badgers there! Smiley
