Top piece of defending. I like the way he was trying not to use his hands.

Yeah he would...

I don't understand how the Ref disallowed the goal. It was obviously going in. What's the procedure in a situation like that? Do you restart play? Award a penalty? If it was something like a bird being hit there are, I believe, rules and regs regarding it as being 'part of the field of play', so whatever happens stands (a bit like a pass hitting the ref or linos).

Crazy circumstances. You have to wonder how he thought he would get away with it, but then it does say at the bottom, "His efforts were enough to keep the game tied at 2-2, sending Aparecidence through to the semi-finals on away goals."

I'm not sure exactly what the procedure is in the circumstances but one thing for sure is that if the ball does not cross the line, the referee cannot give a goal. Definitely one for 'Ask the Ref.'

Personally I'd have sent off the physio (he'd run off I know) and then later in the game as soon as there was a dodgy little challenge in the box on the team who were attacking whilst he was keeping goal, award a penalty to even it up.

Being propositioned by a prostitute 7 minutes after checking in to Luxor.

To be fair she was fitter than your average Manchester road prossie.

I made my excuses and left. "We've just arrived and I'm going to get something to eat." "You can have us for desert"

Just noticed that Accrington Stanleys tickets prices away to Hartlepool are £25 for adults on the day ( £20 early bird )

Bottom 2 teams of lg 2
WTF

Makes £19 for the TE a bargain

For comparison towns away trips to both Rotherham ( Prices increase by £2 on match day ) and Preston are £20

Just 4,000 miles away from my car allowance limit, meaning (fingers crossed) I might be getting a new company car.

I've always been intrigued by Zlatan and really liked this article. Makes him seem not quite so mental.

And to wind up the opposition even more if the physio hooked the ball out of play which i think he did the ref would have to award a goal kick.

The unsurprisingly short tempered 24hr Gym employee who just got really angry and aggressive cos I wouldn't take his letter when I'm walking to my van. It can cost me my job if I'm seen doing so, so I'm not gonna do it, especially if the person gets abusive! He tried driving into me when I drove off as well. Apparently the second time I've done it to him, but I don't remember. Obviously made an impression on him Cheesy

Why is what banned? Not taking mail outside of a postbox, business or post office? It's a biiiiig no-no, it can cost a postman his job, there's some rule about it not officially being 'the queens mail' if its not through a proper channel. I'm not gonna risk it.

At least have the decency to post it in the things that mildly annoy you thread.

Or is this another case of delivering to the wrong address?  Wink
