Finally got feedback from my mate who plays for Berwick on their friendly against pox.

'They were poor, Kitson is finished'

Can't see them doing anything this season, same as us really

Kitson is a very good signing in my opinion.

As a Town fan, Kitson is an excellent signing. Underachieved virtually everywhere he's been and doesn't score goals.

54 in 135 for Reading?...at a much higher level than us.

Sorry Chalkies but your hate of the Pox is admirable...but i would have had Kitson here in a flash.

1 in 3 career record, 1 in 3 in the league above last season, you take that record all day every day from your strikers.  He's well past his best but its a cracking signing for a league 2 side regardless of who they are.

But 31 goals since 2008. Can't believe Stoke paid nearly £6, for him. I think we can both agree that we want him to fail

Oxford may fail, but i reckon he will score loads if he stays fit.

But yes Chalkes Stoke paying 6 million is an eye opener.

Apparently in that Berwick game the 'other striker was better'.

I'm undecided, I have a feeling he may be well past his best.

Neither can I, you could get a couple of pints and a bag of crisps for that.

A little  bit of a typo but you could buy half of Stoke for £6.
