Such a clever use of such a simple technology. It's like the photos of people where they blink. Less is more.

Finally getting the news I've been waiting for. Job offer confirmed. Just have to agree start date, which I anticipate will be mid February. Just the start to the New Year I wanted. Happy days!

The cathedral in Cologne. I don't think I've ever seen such an amazing piece of architecture. Took 650 years to construct apparently.

fiverr.com I am sure that lots of people will rightly say that they are being undercut, by people with lower cost of living, but for me with this book, I know that I am not going to make much money so don't want to spend much out on it, but I am in discussions with someone for an e-book cover and am hoping to pay only $20 for it, paying extra because it is more complicated

I'm surprised it survived WW2 as I'm sure our spitfires had to fly around the fucker it's so big.  It's near on impossible to capture it in a photo from close range. Most pics I've found on the net are from miles away.

I wonder how many buildings from this century will still be standing in 500 years time

Probably used it as a reference to work out where they were.  Nice city Koln, the Dom is impressive.
