QPR, ironically, have equalled our "most games without a win at the start of a premier league season" record (15)

Especially as it was against QPR that we actually won back in '93.

Which, ironically, is why Batch probably used the word ironically.

Watching proper old stop-motion kids programs like Fireman Sam, Thomas the Tank Engine and Postman Pat with the littl'un. Much better than their modern day CGI versions.

Can't beat the old skool tv programmes and films.

Fucking hell, I've inadvertently turned the thread into an Alanais Morisette song. Sorry.

which is also ironic as most of the things she mentions in the song are actually just coincidental

Only Sonic has managed to mention something ironic so far, which isn't ironic as it's exactly what I'd expect from you lot.

Irony is like goldy and bronzey, except it's made out of iron.

All.  All the things.  It would be good if she was going for that as the irony, I doubt she was.  Rain on your wedding day for fucks sake.  If you get married in Manchester, it would be closer to irony if it was sunny, still wouldn't be remotely close though.

I struggle with the definition of irony I must admit.

Would it be ironic if I travelled to Thailand to find a bride and yet I meet and fall for a girl from Swindon?

Or would that be just miraculous?

Yes, that would be ironic, whereas just meeting someone in Thailand who comes from Swindon and then ending up marrying her would be coincidental.
