I'm playing in a charity tournament this Thursday and just found out our team is being managed by Nigel Winterburn.

Think it would be rude of me not to bring this up (from 1:25 in)

Convincing a load of foreign people in my Serbian lecture that dench is a synonym for delicious.

'That meal was dench' was written down by one of them.

Never really sure of the reaction these interviews get, as McLaren was treated the same.

Aren't they asked to speak with a bit of a native accent to help the local journo's and fans understand what's being said?

I like the way he even manages to get the umm in a dodgy French accent.

Really? Can't imagine some English bloke's idea of what a French accent should sound like is actually going to be very much like the actual accent is it? I'd have thought having a load of English players doing bad Allo Allo impressions is going to help anyone much is it? Although I could see some of the journos telling them that to take the piss

Arthur Bostrom's "Englishman trying to sound French" in 'allo 'allo was great.
