Sounds like it was a bad day for the squirrel too.

Meanwhile this kick in the teeth for Scottish cuisine and cultural life caught my eye:

Using an archive thingy to re-read the STFC Fanny Forum.

http://web.archive.org/web/20030205190801/http://www.stfcfannyforum.com/

Including such delights as "Memories are a bit hazy from that point until we got in the ground, and the game was shite. I fell asleep in the ground too.  England eventually scored and it went mental, as did the locals. Macbeth set fire to a $1 note in front of some Albanians which they appreciated.  After the game we were kept in for a bit and it started raining bricks.

Didn’t get hit which was a bonus.  Had a piss outside and a local started swiping at people with a hoe. Could have been painful but got away with it.  Back to the airport on the coach and then the journey home was uneventful until my in-flight meal re-appeared on my seat/the floor/my trousers."
