Now able to post again, been waiting all week for a new router. Sky customer service is really shit.

Depending on the model of router, there used to be a way to extract your username and password, then you could use your own router
Another good reason not to use Sky

I honestly wouldn't know where to start with that.  What did you use...gaffer tape?

The piece that burst was about three inches long.  So I shut off the water, popped off to B&Q and get some pipe and the nut bits, sawed the pipe to the required size, popped the other stuff on, screwed in place and turned the water on.  To be honest we were all a bit surprised that it worked.
