Quite right.  You need to save all of your energy for your thread starting responsibilities this weekend.  Very pleased to see you're taking this seriously.

I don't know which thread this should go in really...

- Crawley boxer fights on despite crooked bones -

A boxer born with his feet backwards has vowed to carry on fighting – despite not winning a bout for five years.

“Rockin'” Robin Deakin, 25, was unable to walk until he was six faced 20 operations to straighten out the bones in his feet and legs.

But, despite still suffering crippling pain, Robin is now a professional boxer and faces his 41st fight on Friday.

If he beats Matty Tew in the televised match it will be only his second ever victory - and his first since his professional debut in October 2006.

But Robin, who was brought up in Crawley but now lives in East Grinstead, says no one can dent his confidence. He said: “I might not be a world champion but I have met some of the biggest names in boxing and they've told me they couldn't have gone through what I did.

“It doesn’t matter how many times I get knocked I’ll get straight back up because I don’t even feel the pain anymore. Robin will take on Matty Tew at York Hall in Bethnal Green on Friday. The fight will be screened by BoxNation.

40 fights and lost 38 of them. How has become professional?

This bit just reminded me of The Simpsons when Homer becomes a boxer.

All the way on the 20 minute underground journey home hearing a dutch person insist to somebody that Johan Cruyff was world class and Franz Beckenbauer was only european class at best.
Not the first time I've heard a clog-wearer say that.

I'm sure someone would've mentioned it.

2. Getting a Carter USM ticket @ Brixton on Saturday for £10 less than face value (if it gets here on time).
