Was the ride good? I almost went today but didn't have time, went to the Saatchi Gallery and the Wildlife Photogrpaher Exhibition at the Natural History Museum beforehand but had to get off to college afterwards.

I've got a date next week, reckon the Emirates thing would be good then?

Ah! We were doing similar things today. I did the V+A (though the indian section with the Tippoo's tiger organ is closed which sucks a little), and the third floor of the science museum (if you like planes, it's the best place in London).

Ride's good (if a little short, though plenty of time for a private moment if you're on a date), you get a great view, even with the crappy fog/low cloud today I got cracking views of the Thames and Canary Wharf. I recommend you go TOWARDS Greenwich

Looking on the BBC's site for Poxford Utd and seeing a photo of us lifting the league trophy slap bang in he middle of the page.  I had to giggle when even the BBC are rubbing their noses in it!

I've been twice in the past to this and the thought of it has just made me feel good.  Love it!

How was this year's?

Amazing photos as always. I'd like to see a bit more variety though, lots of the classic shots re-used, like polar bears standing on broken ice, snow foxes leaping through ice to catch their prey. You weren't allowed to take photos but I snuck in a few with the phone. Oh and they were all back-lit, which reminds me of those cheesy waterfall photos you get in Indian or Chinese restaurants.

Think Mystical Goat was enquiring if he'd have time to give his date a blowy, during the private moments, Honky!

Wondered about the smily! How much is the ride out of interest?

Can't tell you precisely because of an NDA (also I use oyster PAYG and didn't look at the turnstile when I entered...), but I think on Oyster PAYG(they don't accept travelcards) its about £3. It's a good price for the views you get- the telescopes at Greenwich observatory are £2...

You can also buy single/return paper tickets at the station, but I imagine theyre a little bit more expensive.

Ah, I have an Oyster as well, so could use that.

Although my Oyster went mad last weekend and started charging me £9 for short journeys. I am convincend I buzzed in and out at each station so no idea why my balance is so low.

Its not registered so I can't even check! Sad Guess I can ask at one of the desks for them to find out what is going on?

If they can get Adkins we may as well go for Mourinho if Paolo leaves us.

The Graham Westley thread on there is on its 4th page now.  They have matchday threads that don't get that far.  Shows how seriously disillusioned they must now be with Wilder that Westley - a man with a very chequered past, to say the least - would be a welcome change.  (He's still cursed around my area for pocketing the cash from Farnborough's FA Cup run all those years ago before decamping, along with most of Farnborough's players, to Stevenage.)
