Haven’t seen it, but virtually all ads these days are ‘woke’. Advertisers - and their clients - are running scared of being branded racist, homophobic, misogynist et al.

I think it's quite funny actually, in a non comedy way. Clearly the demographic Boots will target is going to be the people they advertise to, no? You'd expect the M&S Food one to be a bit different in theme.

I imagine M&S would be scared of being woke, because the people who brand everything woke, probably make up a large part of their demographic.
It's a bit like Elmo using his footgun and going all anti-woke on/with Twitter. I hazard a guess that the Tesla buying demographic are probably less inclined to enjoy being passionate racists.
