Lloris being subbed at halftime, apparently because of an injury.
Presumably hurt his back picking the ball out of his net Smiley

when in Las Vegas I went to a cirque de soliel show.

in Vegas prostitution is illegal. But there are plenty of 'flicky flicky men' in the street. They give out hooker cards, flicking them to  attract attention.

after the cirque show I bought my mum a bag and a mug as it was beetles themed. we walked down and went on the big wheel on the way back to the hotel.

after the wheel I thought it would be funny to get said cards to show Mrs B that we can play hooker top trumps (I still maintain 2 for 99 is better than 1 for 50). no hookers were hired for the game - just the cards.

when I got back to Swindon I found my mum's present. and gave her the bag.

30 seconds later "ere batch, what are these... look at this batch jr jr (14)".

lesson: don't put hooker cards into your mum's present bag no matter how convenient it is at the time

Do you still have them? Asking for a friend…

Yes. A group of us got pictures taken down there before the last Saturday game. XTC' mural too. Hope they keep them after the building work starts next decade.

For my birthday this year I am off to see the locals put on a production of Spamalot - which on it's won is a good thing, but to add some icing, it's a building that uses the proper spelling of Centre and the entrance is off of a roundabout!
