I love chili and have always made it with mince, the last time i did it i made it with diced casserole beef and slow cooked it for abuot 6 hours, it was phenomenal.

I have a huge joint of bambi in the freezer which im tempted to make a chilli from.

This could have gone in either thread really.

In the club shop this afternoon, there were three young lads working in there, one of whom was particularly cocky and if I'm honest quite childish in his behaviour.

Jordan Turnbull comes in and asks if they have a package for him. Cocky lad says 'sorry, who are you?'.  Turnbull says 'Jordan',
'Sorry 'Jordan who, why would there be a package for you here'.

It was all rather embarassing.  If Swindon Town employees don't even recognise the players, what hope has anyone else got? Ha ha.

Eurgh cringe! that shop always seems to be completely staffed with teenagers and in my opinion that's not always a good thing?

I always assumed they were youth-teamers putting in the hours. They certainly aren't trained retail professionals.

Teenagers or no teenagers...there should be a test.  If any potential employee fails to recognise any of Jan Aage Fjortoft, Glenn Hoddle, John Moncur, Sam Parkin, Roger Smart, Shaun Taylor, Don Rogers, Harold Fleming, Ray McHale, Nathan Thompson or Alan Mayes...it's back to stacking shelves at Sainbury's in Bridgemead.  No further questions asked.

I've just found out there's a street in King's Sutton called 'The Knob'.

Brilliant.
