Levelled a small area of lawn at the front today that the 'mower kept topping, and put some grass seed down to repair the collateral damage. Exhausting work, but immensely satisfying.

Ha ha, what a stupid cunt. What makes it funnier is that at least one editor must be just as thick for sending it to print.

Magazine arrived earlier from organisers of the 2014 London Marathon. The ballot has been run. I'm in!

I've never understood the excitement about tax rebates. The government are just paying you back money that you've overpaid whilst they've been sat on it earning interest at your detriment.

Seems pretty simple to me why someone would find that exciting. Of course it's annoying that they had it in the first place. But by me not knowing about it, or having it, I will have been more frugal with my spending thus saved more than the interest as a result.

Of course it's exciting! The tax code in this country is way too complicated...and probably designed that way so folk have difficulty understanding it. If the tax man hands anything back under any circumstances, celebrate it!

And OK, OF will (prob) waste his rebate at the Kassam, but that's beside the point.

Try getting your money back from SBC...at least HMRC will return your dues...not like those incompetent cunts.
